Team Up: Latias & Latios GX, the Pokémon card to chase

The priciest Pokémon card in Team Up is Latias & Latios GX, on record at $3,916.85, against $2,155.56 for Gengar & Mimikyu GX, the next one in the set. Both are GX cards from the same expansion, and the second price is a long way from the first. In an expansion that puts Pikachu in the spotlight, it is nonetheless the Latias and Latios card where the money sits, and the one collectors look for first.

Pokémon card Team Up: Latias & Latios GX and the other GX cards

Magikarp & Wailord GX sits at $904.13, and Pikachu & Zekrom GX at $174.28. Each of those two stays under the second card, Gengar & Mimikyu GX, at $2,155.56.

Pikachu & Zekrom GX, a Pokémon card in two versions

The secret version of Pikachu & Zekrom GX, the rarer of the two, is at $248.01, against $174.28 for the full art. In the US, printed rarity alone does not order the prices: collector demand counts too, and it differs from card to card.

This ranking holds for single cards only. An opened pack does not contain the card you pick, and no copy is identical to another, so the same card can change hands at different prices.

To aim at the card itself, buying it as a single avoids the luck of the draw.
