Data we collect

Poké EV requires no account. By default the site collects no personally identifying data: no name, no IP address stored by us. The only exception is the e-mail address you choose to leave for an alert (see below).

EV calculations (chosen set, entered price) run in your browser and are never tied to your identity.

E-mail alerts

Under a calculator verdict you can ask to be notified when that verdict changes. We then store your e-mail address, the set, the product and the price you entered, solely to send you that alert. Legal basis: your consent, confirmed by a click in a first e-mail (double opt-in); without that click nothing is sent and the sign-up is deleted within 7 days.

The address is stored encrypted and is never shared or sold. E-mails are sent by Resend, our delivery provider. You only get a message when the verdict changes, at most one per week per alert. Every e-mail carries a one-click unsubscribe link that deletes your address immediately.

Analytics

Audience measurement relies on Umami, a cookieless solution that collects no personal data and performs no cross-site tracking. Statistics are aggregated and anonymous (page views, calculations run, language used). Under EU guidance (including CNIL's), this setup is exempt from consent.

To measure how well our ads perform, the site also loads the Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (UET) tags. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland they run with consent denied until you accept through the banner: no advertising cookies are set and only anonymous, identifier-free signals are sent. Outside these regions, they may set cookies to measure ad conversions.

Third-party services

To operate, the site relies on technical providers that receive connection data (including your IP address) solely to deliver the pages and their content: Vercel (hosting), Umami (anonymous, cookieless audience measurement), TCGdex (the CDN that serves card images), Resend (delivery of e-mail alerts, for those who ask for one), Google (the Google Ads tag) and Microsoft (the Microsoft Advertising UET tag), the last two for ad conversion measurement. This data is not retained by the publisher and is not used to identify you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification and erasure of data concerning you. The only personal data kept is an alert's e-mail address: the unsubscribe link deletes it at once, and you can also write to contact@pokeev.com with any request.
